Classic Party Snack ADDITION TO ANY HOLIDAY GATHERING


SPICY SAUSAGE CHEESE
BALLS
Makes about 38

1 pound spicy Italian sausage,
casings removed, room
temperature
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar
cheese
2 cups all-purpose baking mix
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup grated yellow onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh
parsley
¾ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground black
pepper
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey


  1. In a large bowl, beat sausage,
    cheese, baking mix, milk, onion,
    parsley, salt, and pepper with a
    mixer at medium-high speed until
    well combined, about 2 minutes,
    stopping to scrape bottom and
    sides of bowl. Using a 1½-inch
    spring-loaded scoop, scoop sausage
    mixture into balls.

  2. If preheating is recommended by
    your air fryer instruction manual,
    preheat fryer to 350°.

  3. Working in batches of 12, spray
    each sausage ball with cooking
    spray, and place in air fryer
    basket. (Do not overcrowd.) Set
    temperature to 350°. Cook, turning
    halfway through, until golden
    brown, about 10 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, stir together
    mayonnaise, mustard, and honey.
    Serve with sausage balls.
