HAUNTED MAGAZINE EXTRA
By Dave Harazny
I
promised to do this event, not
only for the BHF (British Heart
Foundation), but also my Niece
Carla, who three years ago, lost her
dad, my oldest Brother Stefan to a
sudden heart attack at the age of 62.
The aim was to find an awesome location,
pair that with my love for ghost hunting
and organise an event that could raise
monies for the BHF. A win-win situation.
Sarah, Lee and myself (three of
paranormal team ‘Entering the Unknown)
arrived at Warwick Castle and we were
privileged to be given a private tour
around the Castle, going through every
room and area that was accessible to
us. To be honest, every single area was
breath-taking. Nearly one thousand years
of history (1068 to be precise).
To be honest, the main point of doing this
was to raise monies for the BHF, anything
else was a “Brucie Bonus”. I could easily
have wrote, we turned up, did this, did
that, raised ££££ for the charity and
went home but as Haunted Magazine
have kindly given us the platform to
write about it, I thought we’d at least
try and tell you how the night was, what
happened etc.
We asked members of the public to come
and join our event and ghost
hunt with the likes of some
high profile paranormal
people out there, the
likes of Alex Duggan
and Miki York
(UK-Haunted),
MJ Dickson
(Sage Paracon,
Paranormal
Captured),
Gemma
Leigh Drury
(Parasearch
Radio, the
Supernaturelle
Show), Carl
Hutchinson, and two
mediums Garry Fields
and Entering the Unknown’s
very own medium Andy Warrington-
Jones.
First, we welcomed the public, welcoming
then to this amazing castle and then we
introduced our team, then the special
guests, who then introduced themselves
to the public.
Then it was time to start the paranormal
investigation. We split into two teams;
Alex, Miki and Carl took people to the
King Maker room. Andy, MJ, Garry and
myself went to the bedrooms to conduct
investigations.
As it happens on a lot of paranormal
events, the night was going so fast,
the first refreshments break was
late, but much needed. During
the break we chatted and
discussed what had
happened, there was cold
spots, drafts, the trigger
ball flashed several
times and a clear
knock was heard in the
corner of the room. The
medium Gary also came
up with a few names.
Then it was time to start
again and Alex, Miki and
Carl took more people to
the King Maker room and ran
some experiments. They heard a
door bang and strange knocking that
they couldn’t debunk.
After a quick freshen up aka fag and loo
break, we mixed it up again and then
changed around a bit. Andy, Gemma and
myself joined Alex, Miki and Carl in the
jail and MJ and Garry went back to the
bedrooms to try to get more evidence.
Whilst down in the jail, we conducted a
Ouija Board session a few of us heard a
door bang in an empty part of the castle,
this actually happened several time
during the night. So much so that Andy
and myself went to check if anyone was
there but nobody was.
