collection. The sleek line is an
optical first with its custom,
3-D printed titanium frames and
newly developed Leica lenses
made for specific environments.
Orange lenses, for example,
maximize contrast on the golf
course, while urban lenses
offer a graduated tint ideal
for outdoor environments but
sans polarization, so you can
still read your phone’s screen.
The collection includes skiing,
yachting and, of course, driving
sunglasses (from $323).
For the custom range
(from $2,008), wearers can
have their faces scanned in 3-D,
so the frames, when printed,

WHY MID-ENGINE?
In a word: balance. With the engine behind the passenger
compartment but in front of the rear axle, the bulk of the car’s
weight sits above the rear tires. That means increased traction,
better handling and more responsive braking compared with
a front-engine layout. “To reach the performance expected by
our customers, we had to go to mid-engine,” Reuss explains.
“Traditionalists will think it’s the best Corvette they’ve ever driven.”
