Heavy glitter was used at
Vivienne Westwood and Dries
Van Noten, but, at Halpern,
Isamaya Ffrench took it to the next
level by combining Studio 54
shimmer with ‘Titanic-style cruise
ship glamour’. Ffrench worked in
gold leaf until it crumbled to create
a crispy texture. Mac Dazzleshadow
Liquid in Flash and Dash, £16.50,
is a more practical solution. Press
onto eyelids to get the full glitter
effect, and avoid flecks falling onto
