Day is the perfect day to be
in Budapest, especially if you
want to experience a wonderful
fireworks display over the
Danube River. People from
all over the city flock to Budapest
to witness this extravaganza,
which takes place for about
45 minutes.The fireworks display,
set against the backdrop of
the Margaret Bridge and the
Hungarian Parliament Building
made for an exquisite and
breath-taking view.

BACK IN BLACK

Kabini Wildlife

Sanctuary,

Karnataka

During my many trips to Kabini,

I have photographed the many

stars of this luxuriant South Indian

jungle – from tigers and leopards

to a variety of avi-fauna. But,

I’ve kept returning in the hope

of spotting its most elusive denizen

• the male melanistic leopard,
  also known as the black panther.
  Passion and persistence finally
  paid off during a weekend trip,
  when the black cat finally granted
  me an audience! For my son
  and me, the two-minute
  rendezvous with this sleek black
  cat was certainly an experience
  of a lifetime.
