Illustrationhasa scheduleof
intriguingexhibitions.You’renotshort
ondecentfoodanddrinkhereeither.
ThenewlyredevelopedCoalDrops
Yardhasa MiddleEasternrestaurant
anda vermouthbaramongits many
wonders,thoughI wouldheadback
towardsSt Pancrasstationto the
GermanGymnasium– I can
neverresista schnitzelandthisplace
servesoneof London’sbest.

andbedazzledbythelargeststock
of neonsignsin EuropeatGod’s
OwnJunkyard, followedbya
drink(orseveral)at thedistillery
nearby,calledMother’sRuinGin
Palace. TheboyfriendandI broke
up,butI keepgoingback.
