Photographer David Yarrow travels to the ends of the earth to create majestic images
of our ever-shrinking natural habitats and raise funds for conservation. Ahead of
the publication of a monograph featuring 150 of his most enchanting
photographs, he let Bazaar tag along on a trip to Jack’s Camp, on the edge
of Botswana’s Makgadikgadi Pans. This glittering expanse of
sun-scorched salt flats is home to the San people, who have lived in harmony with
elephants, meerkats, and other fauna for thousands of years.
