illegal clinic is at Temple tube station. As
a sideline, Strong’s Dr Daniel Milton starts
providing medical care for anyone who
can pay; he is aided by a transport worker
(Daniel Mays) and a medical researcher
(Game of Thrones’ Carice Van Houten).
Valkyrien leaned towards Scandi-noir, but
Temple is taking a lighter route; a “comic
thriller”, said Variety.
TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 17
MasterChef Junior USA (Prime, 7.30pm).
Apparently, it’s not enough for Gordon
Ramsay to be terrifying the adult ama-
teur chefs of America, he’s going for the
children as well. In the first episode of the
new season, he is disappointing two of
the 24 youngsters who are cooking their
little hearts out for a spot in the top 22.
In other Ramsay-related news, Gordon’s
offspring are throwing a dinner party to
celebrate their parents’ 20th wedding
anniversary in Matilda and the Ramsay
Bunch (Three Life, Monday, 9.10pm). It’s
a Mexican affair, with enchiladas and a
mariachi singer, as well as a 20-layer rain-
bow cake. But wait, there’s more: Gordon
and his mates Gino D’Acampo and Fred
Sirieix are in France in this week’s Gordon,
Gino and Fred’s Road Trip (TVNZ 1, Friday,
8.30pm), where Fred is co-hosting an
Oyster Festival in Arcachon Bay.
WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 18
The Good Karma Hospital (UKTV, Sky 007,
8.35pm). Season three of the feel-good
series set in a hospital in southern India,
although this season features an edgy
story about an acid attack on a member
of staff. Amanda Redman, who plays
the eccentric head of the clinic, worked
with the writers, says creator Dan Sefton,
because of her own experience. “Obvi-
ously she’s got a burn on her arm,” Sefton
told the Radio Times, “and she has been
involved in that world ever since she was
a child. So she was very passionate about
that story.” The show centres around
withstanding extreme tempera-
tures was sent in.
It was these heroic efforts
that prevented the bells in the
north tower belfry from falling
and collapsing the towers
and, possibly, the whole
church, although the oak
roof frame installed in
the Middle Ages was
devoured and molten
lead dripped down
from the roof threaten-
ing the artworks and
religious objects below.
Harry: Warrior Prince (UKTV, Sky 007,
Sunday, 8.30pm) celebrates the Duke
of Sussex on the occasion of his 35th
birthday. The Prince has gone from
being a naughty boy to an admired
soldier – his 10-year military
career included two tours of
Afghanistan – and champion of
wounded veterans. The spe-
cial also looks at how Harry’s
wife, Meghan, Duchess of
Sussex, will fit in with her
husband’s military family.
Harry: Warrior Prince, Sunday.
The Good Karma
Hospital, Wednesday.
