MATERIALS

(FOR ONE ANGEL)

4 basket-style coffee filters:
1- to 4-cup size
Glitter glue: silver
Crafts glue
3^1 ∕ 2 -inch-tall wooden peg doll
Chenille pipe cleaner: metallic silver

MATERIALS

Empty cardboard tube (such as an
empty gift-wrap tube)
Crafts knife
Pinking shears
Parchment paper: unbleached
and white
Double-stick tape
Small prize or treat
Tinsel garland: gold
Mini paper bake cups: natural
Quick-setting gel glue

COVER THE TUBE

Using a crafts knife, cut a 5-inch length
from cardboard tube. Using pinking shears,
cut a 7×11-inch rectangle from unbleached

MAKE THE SKIRT

Flatten and stack two coff ee fi lters. Run a

line of glitter glue around the edge; let dry.

Fold stacked fi lters in half. Accordion-

pleat the half-circle with 1-inch folds.

Gently unfold the half-circle. Cut a 1-inch-

diameter circle in the center of the fi lters.

Slip the wooden peg doll through the

opening in the fi lters. Glue edge of opening

to doll’s neck, pleating fi lters as necessary

for a snug fi t; let dry. Fan out skirt pleats.

ADD THE WINGS

Trace pattern in Pattern Pack onto white

paper; cut out. Layer two coff ee fi lters

and fold in half. Trace pattern onto

folded fi lters, aligning pattern with fold as

indicated on pattern; cut out. Unfold wings.

Run a line of glitter glue around all edges of

top fi lter; let dry. Pinch wings at the center;

secure pinched area with glue and glue to

back of neck.

Center and wrap unbleached parchment

rectangle around the tube; secure with

double-stick tape. Center and wrap white

parchment rectangle over wrapped tube;

secure with tape.

Place prize or treat inside wrapped

cardboard tube. Twist parchment paper

ends close to tube; wrap short pieces of

tinsel garland around the twisted ends

to secure.

MAKE THE MEDALLION

Flatten and layer two mini paper bake cups.

Gather the paper cups together in the

center to create a fl at, pinched center. Cut

slits in the bake cups to fringe. Referring to

photo above, tightly coil a piece of tinsel

garland; trim ends. Glue coil to center of

bake cups. Glue medallion to cracker.

ADD THE HALO

Bend the end of a short length of pipe

cleaner into a 1-inch-diameter circle for the

halo and twist end onto remainder of stem

to secure. Position halo over the head at

desired height and bend straight portion

of pipe cleaner around the neck; twist

stem together at back of neck to secure;

trim excess.
