Kerry tells Tracy she
started the factory fire...
ii Secrets and lies finally take
their toll on Kerry, who confesses
to a horrified Tracy that it wasn’t
Frank who caused the factory
fire – it was her.
The pressure
builds when Tracy
bins Frank’s
keyring. A
guilty Kerry
retrieves it, but
is in a tricky
spot when
Tracy sees it fall
out of her bag.
Meanwhile,
Kerry’s guilt piques
when she’s interviewed by the
local rag for her fundraising efforts
for the unemployed workers.
Back at the house, Tracy is
looking for the keyring when she
comes across Kerry’s passport
and one-way tickets. When her
housemate arrives home, she
demands answers. A beleaguered
Kerry reveals all about her part in
the blaze, and when her daughter
pitches up, Amy admits her own
involvement, too.
Desperate to explain
themselves, mother
and daughter lock
Tracy in the house,
but disaster strikes
when Tracy escapes.
She lashes out at
Kerry, who crashes
to the ground, hitting
her head so hard that
she’s knocked unconscious.
Has Tracy killed her?

Simone
Asher Keddie
Andy’s mum is
stunned when it
dawns on her that
she’s raised a son
who has such
contempt for
women.
Australia and he hopes it will have
the same impact in the UK, too.
‘Consent is the big issue here,’
he says. ‘There’s a lack of education
surrounding what it truly means
to have a consensual agreement.
I think we have a long way to go in
terms of unpicking the systemic
misogyny that exists in our culture.
‘TV series like this give a valuable
insight into the world young people
are navigating today and they can
create a conversation around the
family dinner table, which can be
a great catalyst for change.’
