Sony Crime Channel and
CI channel have some stiff
competition from this week as
a new player enters the true-
crime scene on Tuesday.
Sky is launching a brand-new
channel, Sky Crime, dedicated
to true-crime stories and serials,
and its first week of transmission
includes five new series featuring
some compelling cases.

Britain’s Most Evil Killers
Tuesday, 9pm
The third series includes the
high-profile murder of Joanna
Yeates, who was killed by her
neighbour Vincent Tabak in Bristol
in 2010. This revealing look at the
investigation that followed also
includes testimony from Yeates’
landlord Christopher Jefferies

The Science of Sleep:


How to Sleep Better
Wednesday, Channel 5 HD, 9pm

Hosted by Gaby Roslin, this
two-parter applies the latest
science to some of Britain’s worst
sleepers. This week, Craig seeks
help for his night terrors, which
cause him to thrash about, and
Yvonne visits a sleep clinic to
address her extreme snoring.

The Met: Policing London
Thursday, BBC1 HD, 9pm (not Scotland)

A third series of the compelling documentary
series about crime in the capital starts with police
investigations into a sexual assault, a stabbing and
