M
atrix is working with global bodies like IFMA, RICS,
AS+RAEIS+RAE along with other educational
institutes in India to train resources. Many
organisations emphasise the need for extra reliability of business
infrastructure than energy efÀciency or employee experience over
sustainable practices. In this scenario, Tendulkar feels owners are
more concerned with current capital expenditure than long-term
efÀciency, operating cost and building life. Shared saving energy
efÀciency models by ESC 2 s are not moving well in Indian market due high costs.
As part of integrating best practices, /E's of over ,000 light Àttings were installed to
reduce 0.5MW load; remote-monitored digital EM meters and critical parameters were
taken up; new-age +9AC treatment with magnetic belts, ionisers, sponge ball cleaners were
installed; mobile teams were employed to manage MEP and soft services across properties;
sustainable waste management and urban organic farming were applied in campuses;
audit for +ighest Safety Standards in all clusters of the west by %ritish Safety Council and
awarded 5-star rating; and managing all statutory and internal organisational compliances
with professional online tracking tool and best in class consultants from the market. These
streamlined the management process towards sustainability.
