Sleepy Chai

Serves: 2½ stick cinnamon, broken
5 cardamom pods, bruised
1 star anise
4 black peppercorns, cracked
1 whole clove
½ cup water
2cm-slice peeled ginger¼ tsp ground nutmeg
2 cups drinking coconut milk
2 tsp The Beauty Chef SLEEP
Inner Beauty Support
1 tsp manuka honey
Grated or ground nutmeg,
to serveToast cinnamon, cardamom pods, star anise, peppercorns
and clove in small frying pan over low heat for 30 secs, or until
fragrant. Pour in water, add ginger and nutmeg and bring to boil.
Decrease heat and simmer for 5 mins, or until reduced by half.
Pour in coconut milk and simmer for 5 mins. Stand for 10 mins,
or until lukewarm.
Strain into 2 mugs. Add 1 tsp The Beauty Chef SLEEP Inner
Beauty Support and ½ tsp honey to each cup and stir to combine.
Top with grated or ground nutmeg.
Tip: Sleepy Chai spiced milk base can be prepared up to 5 days in
advance and stored in fridge. For a relaxing nightcap, all you need to
