This altered book started as a children's board book.
After cutting the niches for the bottles and main image,
torn pieces of paper in shades of blue. white. and silver
were applied. A wash of blue acrylic inks was added to
unify the papers and make them blend together. An image
transfer of the globes and trajectory lines was added, as
were the rubber stamped circle and square patterns. Tiny
stars, beads, bottles, game pieces, toile net, and stickers
were all used to embellish the piece and highlight the
central image of the girl on the moan.
