A fabulous evening in honour of Chopa rd’s

newly revamped boutique

The soirée thrown by Chopard to celebrate the reopening

of its flagship store on New Bond Street was a glittering affair.

Julianne Moore, Marion Cotillard and Colin Firth were

escorted down a blue-carpeted promenade by dapper

dancers in bowler hats for a glass of champagne outside

the boutique. The ribbon was ceremoniously cut, and the

gathering was invited inside to explore three floors of

exquisite jewels. Later, a fleet of electric cabs, decked out

in the label’s livery, swept the party to Banqueting House in

Whitehall, where tables covered with pink peonies were laid

out for an elegant dinner. Chopard’s co-president Caroline

Scheufele spoke of the brand’s commitment to sustainability

while guests dined on sea-bass, crab-stuffed ravioli and

Eton mess, then danced to a live band until the
