CLASS 745 ‘FLIRT’
JULY19saw the first daytime run from
Norwich to Liverpool Street of one
of Greater Anglia’s newStadler ‘Flirt’
units when No. 745003 undertook a
run between the twocities. The unit
is the onlyone of threesuch newsets
delivered sofartobeused fortesting,
theothers (Nos. 745002/004) having
been senttot he Mid-NorfolkRailway
forstorage on June5and June 19
respectively. Also presenton t he MNR
is No. 745102, which isfor‘Stansted
Express’ duties.
Another delivery took place on July
23 when No. 92011Handelhauled
