’ve got a bit of an obsession

with the colour mint, so we

chose that to be central to our

wedding colour scheme! We paired it

with soft pinks, ivory and a splash of

bright pink, which looked gorgeous

in our rustic venue, Upwaltham

Barns in Surrey. We even went for

mint-themed favours, giving all

our guests little jam jars of Mint

Imperials, topped with mint fabric

and tied with twine bows.

Another DIY project was the

guestbook polaroid photo frame we

made with my dad. Guests wrote a

message on the chalkboard provided

and then took photos of themselves

with a polaroid style camera.

The guests then had to find their

name tag on the string and replace

this with their polaroid photo!

This went down a treat, as people

loved having the instant photos,

plus it was a lovely alternative to a

traditional guest book.
