hypnotism for weight loss, but I didn’t
think it would work.
“But I was desperate... so I decided to
book a session. I was hypnotised to feel
like I had gastric bypass surgery –
suddenly I felt a lot more full and I didn’t
have to binge eat all of
the time.”
He added: “The
sessions were very
affordable in compar-

completely changed my
life as now I am able to
look in the mirror and
not hate what I see.

his hometown of Coventry.
David, a neurology expert, said: “James

late mini rolls. It is dangerous to develop

A YOUNG man lost nine stone after
being hypnotised into believing he
had received a gastric bypass.
James Barton, who had an addiction
to chocolate mini rolls, saved £14,700
when he opted for £295
hypnotherapy sessions
instead of private surgery.
The 22-year-old took
action after he reached 18st
8lb and overheard people
in the gym talking about
being hypnotised to lose
weight. James was scep-
tical, but booked an
appointment and has been
amazed with the results.
After just three one-hour
sessions, he says, he was
convinced he had received
a gastric bypass and his
stomach began to shrink.
Now, two years on, he weighs a healthy
9st 8lb and has ditched the mini rolls.
James said: “I was overweight and
always hungry. Any sort of diet or fitness
I tried to do wouldn’t help because I was
never full. I would eat massive carb-
heavy meals full of chips and bread – and
I’d have 10 mini rolls in a single sitting.
