to ‘shut the f*** up when Daddy’s talking’ by a male colleague.
aisling – who found fame on the stand-up comedy circuit and on panel
shows such as Qi – admitted the comment almost broke her confidence.
‘after one show, i asked for feedback so i could get better,’ the 35-year-
old said. ‘one of the male comedians said, “Put it this way; a panel show
is a family and when Daddy is talking the little girl shuts the f*** up”.’
