Naturally, as good as the EVO SP looks,

it needs to perform well in order to

gain acceptance as an everyday carry

weapon. I was not disappointed.

Because of tight factory tolerances,

many Kimber pistols have a reputation

of needing a short break-in period to

become fully reliable. I experienced

this with the company’s Micro 9 that

at 15 yards from a rest.
