ladius is the elegant 215LL designed by Michele Lubrano Lobianco of Duelle Yacht
Design and is named after the legendary sword weilded by Roman legionnaires.
This sleekly aggressive 65-metre has a beam of 11.5 metres and was originally an
entry for The International Yacht & Aviation Awards. Its design is a reworking of an existing
platform with a new emphasis on al fresco spaces. The yacht has a streamlined yet
vaguely military air but its interiors centre around a large spiral staircase amidships which
also wraps around the lift to the fly. So far the layout includes a master suite on the main
deck and five guest cabins as well as a cinema and gym on the lower deck. The garage
has been shifted forward to make away for the beach club.È stato battezzato Gladius, come la mitica

Slanciato e aggressivo, questo 65 metri
vanta un baglio di 11,50 metri ed è stato
concepito per una delle passate edizioni
di The International Yacht&Aviation award.
Il disegno nasce dalla rielaborazione di
una piattaforma preesistente che Michele
Lubrano Lobianco ha rivisto, privilegiando
gli spazi open air. Le linee esterne sono
filanti e sono contraddistinte dalle due
alette di manovra pronunciate che donano
all’insieme un aspetto deciso e vagamente
militare, mentre gli interni, che per ora
sono solo abbozzati, ruotano intorno a
una grande scala elicoidale a centro barca
all’interno della quale è stato posizionato
un ascensore che arriva fino al fly. Al
momento, il layout prevede una suite
armatoriale sul ponte principale e cinque
cabine ospiti, oltre all’area cinema e alla
palestra sul lower deck dove, a prua, c’è
anche il quartiere equipaggio. Per dare
spazio al beach club, il garage è stato
posizionato a prua ed è equipaggiato con
due portelloni che si aprono verso l’alto.Duelle
