dotted across the skin. “I placed them

organically, scattering them until I thought

it was beautiful,” says makeup artist

Erin Parsons, who was inspired by the

beauty marks of 1950s film star Dorothy

Dandridge. Parsons finished with four

layers of blue mascara for lush-looking

eyes. Occasionally, function even followed

form: “If the model had a pimple, I would

cover it with a crystal.” Now that’s rich.
