CEO and MD, Tata Motors Limited
Guenter Butschek was appointed the CEO and
MD of Tata Motors in February 2016. He has
graduated in business administration and
economics with a diploma from the University
of Cooperative Education, Stuttgart, Germany.
Before taking up his present responsibility
at Tata Motors, Butschek worked for Airbus
and Daimler AG. During his tenure with those
companies, he garnered valuable experience
in the fields of production, industrialization,
and procurement.
Earlier this year, Yoshimura san took over the
responsibility of managing Toyota Kirloskar
Motor. This seasoned leader comes with over
25 years of experience in the automobile
industry. His expertise is evident in areas
covering product planning and pricing. In his
new role, he will be responsible for directing
Charles Frump has been leading Volvo Car
India since 2017. During his tenure, Volvo have
been able to improve their footprint in India
with a growing network of dealerships and
service centres.
Apart from being a dynamic businessman,
Frump is also known for his association with
motor sport. He has over 17 years of
experience in the automotive industry and has
been associated with Volvo Cars for more than
a decade. His innings with Volvo began in 2008

operations in India and international markets,
including South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia,
and South Africa.
Tata’s latest product is the Harrier SUV and
they have confirmed that a seven-seater
model of the car is also on the way. However,
the limelight is likely to be stolen by the
upcoming Altroz hatchback. We may expect
to see it in India by the end of the year.
