stopsandblazedtopolepositionwitha lap-timeof
1:53.523.he wasjoinedonthefrontrowbyhis
teammate,ashwindatta.

Theracegotofftoa goodstartwithRaoanddatta
pullingawayfromtherestoftheracersquiteearlyin
therace.in spiteofhisblisteringperformancethe
previousday,Raojustdidnothaveenoughinhis
arsenaltostopdatta’sonslaught.at theendofthe
race,it wasdattawhotookhomethewin,withRao
finishinglessthantwosecondsbehindhim.datta did
well to earn the victory after overcoming a rather poor
start. Third-placed Chirag Ghorpade (Momentum
Motorsports) was a good 10 seconds off the race
winner.

Race Two
ThesecondracewasonetoforgetforRaoand
Ghorpadebecausetheywereoutofcontentionfrom
earlyintherace.ViswasVijayaraj(dTS Racing) made
themostofthisoutcomeandranawaywiththevictory,
finishingaheadofSohilShah(MSport)bya gapless
thana second.datta claimed the final step of the
podium.

initially,thefirstracedidnotlookverypromisingfor
arjun Balu (Race Concepts) especially because he had
notdonewellinqualifyingalso.Startingfromfifth
place,hetookcommandoftheracejustbeforetheend
ofthefirstlapandtherewasnostoppinghim.he
crossedthelineinfirstplace,a whoppingnineseconds
aheadofKarthikTharani(VWMotorsport).nikanth
Ramofarka Motorsports finished in third place a
further seven seconds behind Tharani. The fastest lap
of the race was set by Balu at 1:52.902.

it wasdramagalorefortheSundayrace.ishaandodhiwala (VW

Motorsport) took his maiden win after a close fight with Ram. Balu followed

in third place almost 10 seconds after the race winner. Tharani was actually

the first one across the line but he had to give up his position and was also

slapped with a ban for one race because he ignored a drive-through penalty

in the early stages of the race.

Theracetookofftoa goodstartandsoonthetopthreehadbegunpulling

awayfromtherest.as the race progressed, it was clear that the fight for the

win would boil down to R P Rajarajan (Performance Racing) and Rithvik

Thomas (Race Concepts). The former kept a cool head and cruised to a

comfortable victory with Thomas settling for second place. Rounding off

the podium was Sudanand from Race Concepts.

Thesecondracewasalsoalmosta replayofthefirstone.TheThomas-

Rajarajanduowereonceagainatthefront.however, this time Thomas was

the man on the top step after he crossed the line just a second ahead of

Rajarajan. Third place was claimed by R Rajashekar of Race Concepts.
