passengerroominside.thequalityof
materialsisexcellentandthelevelof
fit-and-finishisgreat,andnotjustfor
a Mahindra.It’soncoursetobeingas
goodassomeeuropeanofferings.In
termsofequipment,it offersthemost
ofthelot.there are automatic
headlamps, wipers, and dual-zone
climatecontrol.thecabinanddashboardfeelsolid.thecentre
consoleseven-inchtouchscreenisn’tthebestintermsofhaptic
feelandresponse,butdoesitsjob.the climate control also has a
memoryfunction—somethingI’veneverseenina carbeforeto
mymemory—thatrememberstemperature,blowerspeed,and
recirculationsettings.therearea bunchofnarrow,plastic-ey
buttonsthatcouldhavefeltbetterbutdothejobnonetheless.
while the rear seats offer excellent room, another shortcoming, to
some extent, is that the occupants
don’t have a seat-pocket but a trio
of tight bands which can effectively
holdallsortsofitemsalbeit
withoutmuchdignity,sotospeak.
the boot capacity is 257 litres, the
least of the lot, but enough for
many needs.
