THEDESIGNAPPROACH
takingtheircuesfromtheexistingblackcabinet,thedesigners
deviseda monochromaticpaletteincludingblacktimber-
grainedcabinets(polytecBlackWenge)anda charcoal-toned
tiledsplashback.apreviouslyunder-utilisedcornerhasbeen
turnedintoa walk-inpantrycontainingsmallappliancesand
abundantstorage.Gloriousbenchspacestretchesaroundthe
perimeterwhile,inthecentre,there’sroomfora 150 x 90 cm
island,perfectforfoodprepandsocialising.theisland
benchtop,insolidblondtimber,offsetsthedarktonesandadds
visualwarmth.all otherbenchtopsarecorianRaincloud.#
