path, edged with lime chip, to the front door.She’salwaysdreamedofa statementfront
doorbutwhenshewasquoted$2000fora
powder-coatedpinkfrontdoor,Janetookthe
plainaluminiumdoortoa localpanelbeater
whospray-paintedit for$500.
Theentrance’spinkthemecontinueswith
a collectionofpalepinkpotswhichstarted
lifeas$20terracottapotsfromTheWarehouse
andwerethenpaintedbyJane.A CRAFTYCOUPLE
AnythingJanecan’tfindfora goodprice,she
designsandMarcmakes.Thewoodenclothes
dryingrackinthehallwaywhereshedries
foragedflowersandherbs,thepineshelving
ineachbedroom,andtheentrywaytable
areallexamplesoftheiringenuity.Theyare
alsowhatmakesthisnew-buildfeellikean
establishedhome– thoselittletouches that
