HK Models' sublime 1:32 Avro Lancaster B Mk.I receives

some useful goodies from Eduard this month in the

form of engine radiator faces and intake screens, crew

harnesses in malleable and pre-printed steel, a set of

multi-layered instrument panel faces, undercarriage

bay details and possibly the largest photo-etched

set of landing flaps we have ever seen. The latter set

comprises four 21cm x 14cm sheets of PE brass and

the package feels heavy! A fantastic way to upgrade and

already stunning kit. If you don't fancy the flaps, then the

cockpit and harness sets should be considered essential

purchases for this model. MN

Tamiya's฀1:35฀M26฀Pershing฀is฀a฀fantastic฀

production and you can take it that bit further

with Aber's recently issued aluminium barrel

set. The bulky muzzle brake is taken care of

by a machined-brass part and just requires a

gentle de-burring with a file and sandpaper in

preparation for mating with the tube. Internal

barrel rings and fittings are provided by further

photo-etched and machined brass parts. MN
