Starting his career as a runner
at Shine TV, Tom Power took the
initiative by sending a two-minute
tape called The Wingman to execs
and soon found himself in the
development team.
Editing taster tapes, he helped
Shine win commissions including
The Island With Bear Grylls before
leaving to pursue a career in
shooting and directing.
Tom worked on C4’s Secret Life
Of The Zoo and Come Dine With Me
as a shooting PD and achieved
his directorial breakthrough on
CBBC observational doc series
Our School in 2016.
