Some celebs prefer

to remain tight-lipped

  • these ones, not
    so much...

“My family weren’t helpful in that they
were incredibly fat-phobic. Jutting hip
bones were seen as a sign of peak bril-
liance, both at home and at school. It
didn’t matter that I did well academically
or was a good swimmer. All I thought was
important about me was that my jeans
hung off my hip bones” – The Good Place star
JAMEELA JAMIL (33) on her battle with
anorexia as a teen.

“The show I did
at E! [Denise Rich-
ards: It’s Compli-
cated], I had to do
that. I had too
many legal bills
with my ex-hus-
band [Charlie
Sheen]. He said he
wanted to bleed
me dry, and he did.
It was difficult for
me to get a job
back then”

  • DENISE
    RICHARDS (48)
    on how her divorce
    from Charlie left
    her struggling
    financially.

“My uncle was actually very
close to her. She was pretty
scary. She said, ‘You’re get-
ting better, aren’t you?’
I presume she meant
acting” – HELENA BONHAM
CARTER (53) on meeting the
late Princess Margaret at
Windsor Castle. The
actress is set to play the
famously icy royal in the
upcoming season of
The Crown.

“It feels ironic to be
anointed as ‘sexy’.
Bombshell wasn’t
really my thing. I
thought natural,
cute and funny was
sexy, you know? To
be put in that [sexy]
category, I was like,
‘Oh, this is nice’.”

  • JENNIFER ANISTON
    (50)

“When [my sons] first started [at the school], because my
husband’s surname is Upton, and my first name is Cate,
I was down as KATE UPTON (ABOVE RIGHT). Their friends at
school said, ‘Oh my god, is your mom [swimsuit model] Kate
Upton?’ And the boys innocently said, ‘Yeah!’ So 20 kids
were waiting at the first day of school pickup. I arrived, and
you could feel the disgust and disappointment.

  • CATE BLANCHETT (50)
