Sunny disposition Roksanda’s secret to making feminine hues feel modern? Colour-blocking. The key is to choose pieces and furnishings in single shades. Note
how the rich, fruity tones of the Kvadrat curtains, chaise and floral display come together harmoniously. The modernist-style ceramic vase is a collaboration piece by
Roksanda, creative director Nick Vinson and Linck for MatchesFashion. Personal space Floor-to-ceiling wood may seem traditionally masculine in a bedroom, but
those ethereal rays of light and the presence of a woman’s accessories have the opposite effect. A leather Börge Lindau stool complements the earthy scheme.

BE YOUR OWN SOURCE OF INSPIRATION

The clothes you love wearing, the bag you saved up for, your favourite flowers... these aspects of your personal style can be translated
into the way you decorate your home. Start by using everyday items that give you pleasure as incidental decorative objects – notice how
books by writers such as Joan Didion and Patti Smith are scattered in several rooms. Roksanda’s own designs including coats, bags and
shoes have been hung on racks, casually displayed on tables and placed near desks and beds, ready for bare feet to slip into. According
to her, “It was important to put things in here that connected with me personally. Otherwise you can tell it’s not genuine.” The takeaway?
Trust your own sense of style and your home will be filled with an authentic interpretation of femininity that’s as unique as you are. R
