THE KITCHEN

Sage green cabinets and white-painted brick walls create
a fresh yet welcoming feel in the kitchen. Bec wanted to pay
homage to the home’s original ’70s features and introduce
a modern edge with clean lines and matte-black fixtures.
Standout features Cabinetry frames the home’s original
brickwork and helps to visually link the kitchen and dining
areas. A bench seat “ticked the box of added storage” and
is a comfy place to perch while dinner is being made.
Expert tip “The kitchen is truly the heart of the home so
I always try to maximise entertaining space,” Bec says. An
island bench and extra seating are a great place to start.
