COLOUR AND PATTERN PLAY
The minimalist trend of neutrals has enjoyed a lengthy reign, and
however appealing it is, we are now seeing the resurgence of colour in
the form of decorative tiles. Sandy Warner of Bathroom Butler points
out: “Tiles need a chapter of their own after being put in the dark
during the ’90s; tiles have made a comeback and this trend continues.
The advent of digital imaging has created a wealth of natural looks
on porcelain such as wood, cement and stone, which has fed the
increased demand for texture in the bathroom.”
