ABOVE: The brief received by Poolsafe was to design a pool

cover that is low in maintenance, energy-efficient and child-

proof while being easy to operate. By installing an automated

slatted pool cover using solar Polycarbonate slats, this was

achieved. The cover heats the pool by 6°C to 8°C.

ABOVE RIGHT: This automated slatted pool cover is ideal for

children’s safety. As well as being extremely user-friendly, the

cover reduces the pump’s running time, eliminates water loss

due to evaporation and opens and closes by the simple push of

a button. Poolsafe’s first pool cover was installed in 2000 and

is still going strong.
