6) Repeat steps 1–5 to add another component.

ENDING THE BRACELET

1. With the working thread from the last
   component added, repeat steps 1–2 of “Joining
   components” (figure 8, a–b).


2. Pick up three As, two crescents (LH, front
   to back), and three As, and sew through the
   4 mm pearl your thread exited at the start of
   the step. Continue through the following three
   As and two crescents (b–c), making sure the
   4 mm pearl is positioned on top of the two
   crescents just added.


3. Repeat steps 1–2 of “Joining components”
   (c–d). Do not end this working thread.


4. Add 1 yd. (.9 m) of thread to the other end

of the beadwork, exiting the inside holes of the

end two crescents, and then repeat steps 1–3.

note To make the bracelet longer,

work as in steps 2–3 for each end. One

additional section on each end adds

an extra 1 in. (2.5 cm) in length. You

can also add an additional jump ring to

each end, or add additional seed beads

to the end loop added in the next step

as needed for additional length.

5) Pick up nine As, and sew through the 4 mm

pearl your thread is exiting to form a clasp loop

(figure 9, a–b). Retrace the thread path (not

shown in the figure for clarity), and continue

through the nine As (b–c). Pick up an 11 0 seed

bead, and sew through the next nine beads as

shown (c–d). Pick up an 11 0 , and sew through

the following 21 beads as shown (d–e). Pick

up an 11 0 , and sew through the next nine beads

(e–f). Pick up an 11 0 , and sew through the

next nine beads on the clasp loop (f–g). End

this thread.

6) Repeat step 5 for the other end of the bracelet.

CLASP

Attach a jump ring to half of the toggle clasp

and the loop on one end of the bracelet. Repeat

to attach the other half of the clasp on the

other end. B&B
