(figure 16, a–b). Repeat this stitch (b–c) six
times. Sew through the next five 15 0 s as before
to exit the other edge, and add an identical set of
seven embellishment 15 0 s on this edge of the bail.
10) Sew through the beadwork to the front
face, and exit a bottom embellishment 15 0 added
to one side of the bail (figure 17, point a). Pick
up the rose montée, and sew through the 15 0
at the bottom of the RAW join (a–b). Sew back
through the rose montée and the bottom embel-
lishment 15 0 on the other edge of the bail (b–c).
11) Sew through the adjacent 15 0 again, and
continue through the next three 15 0 s to exit the
CRAW unit next to the rose montée (c–d). Sew
through the other channel of the rose montée,
through the corresponding three 15 0 s on the
opposite CRAW unit, and back through the
rose montée and the adjacent 15 0 in the CRAW
unit (d–e).

EMBELLISHMENT
1) Sew through the beadwork to the short leg
on the bottom outer edge of the pendant, and
exit the second cylinder from the top on the
outer edge, with your needle pointing toward
the nearest corner (figure 18, point a).
2) Pick up a 2 mm fire-polished bead, and sew
through the corresponding cylinder on the inner
edge (a–b).
3) Pick up a 2 mm, and sew through the next
cylinder on the outer edge (b–c). Pick up a 2 mm,
and sew through the next cylinder on the inner
edge (c–d). Repeat these two stitches (d–e), and
then add one more 2 mm, sewing through the
second-to last cylinder on the outer edge on this
surface (e–f).
4) Pick up a 2 mm, and sew through the inner-
edge 15 0 at the bottom corner (f–g). Pick up
a 2 mm, sew through the outer-edge 15 0 at the
tip of the bottom corner, and back through the
same 2 mm and the inner-edge 15 0 again (g–h).
5) Pick up a 2 mm, and sew through the second
cylinder on the outer edge on the other side of
the frame (h–i).

6) Zigzagging between the edges, add six more
2 mms on this side, sewing down through the
opposite cylinder when adding the last 2 mm (i–j).
7) Zigzagging back in the opposite direction,
sew through the same 2 mms and the remaining
cylinders that you didn’t sew through on the
first pass, exiting the first 2 mm added on this
side (j–k).
8) Sew through the next cylinder, three 15 0 s at
the point of the bottom corner, and the following
outer-edge cylinder on the other side of the
frame (k–l).
9) Zigzagging back in the opposite direction,
sew through the same 2 mms and the remaining
cylinders that you didn’t sew through on the first
pass (l–m). End the thread. B&B
