How to pick up the Nib-bit beads: Pick up the
beads through the narrow tip hole (TH) or
the wider base hole (BH), per the instructions.
How to pick up the GemDuo beads: With the
beveled side facing up, sew through the bottom
hole (BH) or top hole (TH), per the instructions.
How to sew through the QuadraLentil beads:
After the QuadraLentils have been added in
the ring through any hole, sew through the
top inner hole (TI), bottom inner hole (BI),
top outside hole (TO), or bottom outside
hole (BO), per the instructions.

COMPONENTS
1) On 4 ft. (1.2 m) of thread, pick up a repeating
pattern of an 11 0 seed bead and a Nib-bit bead
(TH) eight times. Leaving a 6-in. (15 cm) tail,
sew through the beads again to form a ring (not
shown in the figure for clarity), and tie a square
knot (figure 1, a–b). Sew through the open hole
of the Nib-bit your thread is exiting (b–c).
2) Using medium tension, pick up a

QuadraLentil bead (any hole), and sew through
the open hole of the next Nib-bit (c–d). Repeat
this stitch seven times to complete the round,
and continue through the same hole of the first
QuadraLentil added (d–e). The hole your thread
is exiting will now be the top-inner hole of the
QuadraLentil.
3) Sew through the bottom-inner hole of the
same QuadraLentil (figure 2, a–b) (t he t wo
open holes of the QuadraLentil should be to the
outside of the beadwork). Pick up three SuperDuo
beads, and sew through the corresponding hole
of the next QuadraLentil (BI) (b–c) to form
a picot. Repeat this last stitch seven times to com-
plete the round (c–d). Sew through the first three
SuperDuos added (d–e), and continue through
the open hole of the last SuperDuo (e–f).
4) Flip the beadwork over, and place a rivoli
face down in the center of the beadwork. Position
the center SuperDuo in each picot so the open
hole faces outward (away from the rivoli) and
the remaining SuperDuos face inward.

A path of flower-like GemDuo components featuring
sparkling rivolis, Nib-bits, QuadraLentils, and Pip beads
create this striking bracelet.
