hole (TH) or the bottom hole (BH),
per the instructions.
How to pick up the Super Kheops
beads: With the f lat side on your
work surface, sew through the left
hole (LH) or the right hole (RH)
from the tip toward the base edge
(side with the two holes) or base
to tip, per the instructions.
BRACELET
1) On a comfortable length of
thread, attach a 3 mm pearl as a
stop bead, leaving a 6-in. (15 cm)
tail (figure 1, a–b). You will incor-
porate the 3 mm pearl into the base
later. Pick up a SuperDuo bead and
a 3 mm pearl, and slide these beads
down to the stop bead (b–c).
2) Pick up a Kite bead (TH) and
a Super Kheops bead (LH, tip to
base), and sew through the open
hole of the SuperDuo just added
(c–d). Pick up a 15 0 seed bead, a
4 mm pearl, a 15 0 , and a SuperDuo,
and sew through the open hole of
the following Super Kheops (base
to tip) (d–e). Repeat these stitches
16 times for a 6½-in. (16.5 cm)
bracelet, including approximately
11 ⁄ 4 in. (3.2 cm) for the clasp. End
and add thread as needed.
note To change the
length of the bracelet, adjust
the number of repeats as
needed. Each repeat mea-
sures ¼ in. (6 mm).
3) Pick up a Kite (TH) and a
3 mm pearl, and sew through the
open hole of the next SuperDuo
(figure 2, a–b). Pick up a 3 mm
pearl, a SuperDuo, and a 3 mm
pearl, and slide these beads down
to the SuperDuo (b–c).
4) Pick up a Kite (TH) and a
Super Kheops (RH, tip to base), and
sew through the open hole of the
SuperDuo just added (c–d). Pick up
a 15 0 , and sew through the adjacent
4 mm pearl (d–e). Pick up a 15 0
and a SuperDuo, and sew through
the open hole of the following
Super Kheops (base to tip) (e–f).
Repeat these stitches 16 times.
5) Pick up a Kite (TH) and a
3 mm pearl, and sew through the
open hole of the next SuperDuo
(figure 3, a–b). Remove the looped
thread around the 3 mm pearl stop
bead, and sew through the same
3 mm pearl (b–c). With even ten-
sion, retrace the thread path of the
entire base for added strength (not
shown in the figure for clarity), and
then continue through the following
SuperDuo and 3 mm pearl (c–d).
6) Pick up four 15 0 s, and sew
through the open hole of the next
Kite (d–e).
Super Kheops and Kite beads fit snugly
together to form a stylish and classic looking
bracelet.
