back to school costs
With the new academic year just around the corner,

You’ll find it much easier
to manage your finances
if you know exactly what’s
coming. Once school
reopens, ask the office if
they can give you an
overview of school trips
for the year and the costs
involved. Also, add up the
fees for things like music

care; make sure theseare

monthly budget.
And check if you can
do anything to reduce
costs. For example,

the Tax-Free
Childcare scheme?If so, for every £8 you
pay into your Tax-Free
Childcare account, the
government will add an
extra £2. You can receive
up to £2,000 per child per
year. You can use it pay for
childcare such as after-
school clubs and child-

write a list of everything
you need and research
