presided over the ceremony. They exchanged
vows and rings. And, of course, someone was
on hand to videotape the whole affair, which
took place in New York’s Hamptons.
But now Geena is saying it was all a lie. Af-
ter Reza, 48, filed for divorce last year and
asked for spousal support, the 63-year-old
star of Netflix’s Glow — who’s estimated to be
worth $30 million — dropped a bombshell:
She claimed they were never married to be-
gin with! “[We] knowingly and voluntarily
chose to have a marriage-like ceremony,
fully aware that it was not legally binding,”
she states in court documents, noting the
union wasn’t official because they made “the

But Reza maintains the marriage is valid,
regardless of the issue with the license.
“This is going down as one of the craziest
and nastiest divorces in Hollywood his-
tory,” a source says of the pair, who share
kids Alizeh, 17, and 15-year-old twins Kai-
is and Kian. “It’s a classic ‘he said, she said’
situation, but with this wild twist. Geena
has said Reza is well aware of the fact that
they’re not married. She’s pissed — and
isn’t backing down.”

THE SMOKING GUN?

In her deposition, Geena even admits
she lied when she appeared on a major
TV talk show in 2006 and raved about
