The newest range of clothing from minimalist furniture and lifestyle brand Worn Store
is an exercise in combining comfort with classic style – think button-up blouses, wide-
leg pants, softly tailored blazers and flowy, tiered dresses in muted tones of sustainably
sourced linen, as well as drapey lounge pants and sweaters in an organic, undyed wool
and silk mix. As perfect for travelling as they are for day-to-day life, each item in the
range is produced sustainably and by hand – so when you wear a piece, you can feel
good from the inside out.

How did you get into sewing?
I started sewing when I was around 11 –
dissatisfied with my Barbie’s wardrobe,
I started cutting up my clothing to make
her outfits. When my mum found out,
she was super understanding – she told
me I had to do it the right way, and gave
me a vintage sewing machine, took me
to buy a pattern and fabric, and helped
me through my first project. I’ve been
hooked ever since!
Who do you design for?
My patterns are contemporary ward-
robe staples for the modern woman
who likes to look stylish and feel com-
fortable at the same time. My goal is to
make it easy and enjoyable to sew styl-
ish pieces that fit into your daily life and
work with your lifestyle, not against it.
Why is giving back an important part of
your business?
As a passionate Christian, I believe
really strongly in running my business
ethically and using my brand to sup-
port humanitarian causes. I feel like
we are so blessed here in Australia and
I think that businesses have a respon-
sibility to impact the world in a posi-
tive and generous way.
What do you love about being part of the
maker community?
I love the positivity and the immense
amount of support everyone gives to
each other – it inspires and motivates
me to work hard and do better.
