NZ Hot Rod – September 2019

(Barré) #1
>> 29 29

Paul Chapman’s stunning ’39 Ford coupe was built at home. It
features a roller-cammed 302 Windsor, 4-speed auto and 9-inch
diff while that eye-grabbing purple paint is from the House of Kolor.

Luke Ennion’s 1929 Ford Model A runs six carbs on a Caddy
V8. It was good enough for 3rd in Hot Rod Commercial.

Igor Sutich’s 1965 Ford Mustang took home
Best Custom for the second year in a row.

37000km and still No1. John Allen’s Deuce won
Best Hot Rod Coupe against some stiff competition.

Bruce & Raelene Carter’s 1933 Ford Tudor
deservedly snagged 1st in Hot Rod Sedan.

Good bones saw a second place for Brian &
Elizabeth Ogle’s ‘32 Ford 5-Window Coupe.

First place in Unfinished for Greg Stokes & Tania Foster’s 1932
Ford Roadster. It runs a 348ci Chevrolet W motor and lots of rake.
