“Of course, I realize everyone doesn’t like this style. I’d rather
have a bike that some people hate than one that looks like every-
thing else. Also, I don’t care much
about prizes, but it was a big
thrill to get compliments from
the big names in the business.

A few weeks after the show,
we went to visit Richard in his
hometown Norrköping for this
photo shoot. He suggested the
location himself, the area where
FC?LBFGQcPCcEFRCPAMJJC?ESCQ
do their training. Fire in the hull!
Richard turned on the gas for us
to make some really awesome


pictures possible.
It was ten years ago that Richard sold his T-23 hot rod and
decided to build a bike. As you can tell, the whole idea was to create
something unique that would really stand out in any crowd — but
not necessarily a crowd-pleaser.
Richard started out by making a bunch of sketches and blue-

around the oil tank are supposed to look like eyes. He matched the
frame to a 5"-over pair of forks

Moheda, Sweden. Then he needed
a pair of wheels.
“There was one model of

used to make, but they had been
discontinued so I made my own
replicas of that particular model
out of big expensive lumps of

outer part of the wheel rims are
from BBS in Germany.
The wheels were made a long
time ago, back when a 230 mm
motorcycle tire was the widest
