US Nationals have

just started and

I spent the irst hour of

the show trying to get

the latest news from

manufacturers from all

around the world who

are attending the show.

or the irst time, New

Zealand manufacturer

Wingnut Wings had

a full stand at the show

and were selling a wide selection

of their range at special show

prices. We also had a couple of

surprise announcements as well

as updates on ongoing projects,

all of course in 1/32 scale.

At Last!

T

he big surprise announcement

at the show was that Wingnut

Wings will be releasing both

an early and late Fokker DR.1 Triplane

in 2020. This is a subject that I have

been expecting for some time. And

I am sure will quickly become one

of Wingnut Wings best sellers.

Surprisingly Richthofen’’s overall Red

triplane is missing from the marking

options though we do have one of his

earlier partially red scheme. Other

marking options include a number of

other aces including Udet and Voss.
