When scheming the design behind the elegant bedroom, Paige Schnell and her team
at Tracery Interiors started with color, specifi cally a palette mixing rose quartz, black,
taupe and, most notably, teal, as seen in the showstopping, oversize upholstered head-
board. “The headboard fabric from Romo and accent pillow in Cowtan & Tout really
anchored our vision for the room,” shares Schnell. Two rose-quartz chairs by Lee In-
dustries are a favorite by the designer, creating a chic yet cozy corner in the sumptuous
space. When designing a lavish retreat, the designer notes that while beauty is pivotal,
it also needs to be comfortable. “Splurging on linens (like Peacock Alley, shown here)
