Lonsdale Car Park(FY1 6EE, next to Blackpool FC) hasa
12-hour motorhometariff (£5), but no overnight parking. If you
have difficulty obtaining a ticketcall 01253 476395. Sat-navs
might take you downLytham Road into Lonsdale Road, but this
entrance has a height barrier. From the M55,approaching the
roundabout, get into the right-hand lane and follow ‘Blackpool
Main Car & CoachParks’ sign – Lonsdale is shown in dark
green. Go straight aheadat the next two mini-roundabouts,
under the bridge and straight onat the trafficligh ts next to
Blackpool FC. Drive over the cobbled areaalongside thefootball
ground andat the next mini-roundabout take the first exit into
the motorhome and coach site.Note: motorhomesare not
allowed to park on the Promenade or use any on-street P&D
bays (even with a BlueBadge).
Seasiders(FY1 6JX). Motorhomes are allowed to parkin coach
ba ys.
South Car Park(FY1 6BF). Motorhomes are allowed to park in
coach bays. A 12-hour motorhome tariff costs £10. Overnight
sleeping is allowed but not the use of or setting up of any
outdoor equipment.
FYLDE
During the day motorhomes can park on any of the long stay car
parks.You must pay for as many bays as you occupy.
LANCASTER
P&RCaton Road, J34 of M6 (LA2 9HG). No height barriers. It
should be finefor allbut the longest motorhomes (long vehicles
would not make the turn out of the gates). ThePark & Ride bus
service runs every 30 minutes into Lancaster onMonday to
Saturdays (noservice Sundays and Bank Holidays). In addition,
the 582bus calls inat the Park & Ride about every two hours
(not Sundays and Bank Holidays) and goes to Kirkby Lonsdale,
Ingleton, Settle and Skipton. Bus passes are accepted onthe
Park & Ride and 582 bus services.
LY THAM ST ANNES
Fairh aven Road Car Park(FY8 1NW).Parking for oversized
vehicles behind theswimming pool on the seafront. 7 spaces.
Motorhome-friendly but must pay for each bay taken.
Lytham St Anne’slower car park behind cinema. (FY8 1SW).
5 bays for larger motorhomes; smaller ones innormalbays.

Stanner Bank Car Park(FY8 1BD). Good parkingoverlooking
Fairhaven Lake and adjacentto the beach.
ÉOvernight parking is possibleatSt Annes Swimming Pool Car
Park(FY8 1LS).The fee for overnightparking (6pm to 10am) is
a flat rate of £5 irrespective of how many bays are occupied.
Multi-day tickets are alsoavailable for1, 2 or 3days with prices
applied per bay occupied. Multi-day tickets expireat 10am on
the final day. (Overnight motorhome parking is permitted in the
lower car park only where 7 oversized vehicle bays (8m long)
are available.) A sluice unitfor u se by motorhomers is provided
approximate 500m north of this siteat North Promenade Car
Park in the public WCs. 20 minutes freeparking is provided ina
designated bay beside the building, though a £1 charge is made
for use of the facility. Currently no water supply isprov ided.
PRESTON
Hill Street(PR1 2BB). 70 spaces. Recommended by Preston
City Council for motorhomes.

4hrs – may be difficult manoeuvring a large vehicle in Roseway).
LINCOLN
The Lawn Car Park(LN1 3BU) on Union Road (large boardat
entrance marked The Meeting House).Approach from the north via
A46 or B1398 Burton Road. Do not use coach park. Charges: £3
(up to 4 hours), £4 (over 4 hours). The car park is 100yards from
the Westgate entrance to the castle. AlsoTentercroft Street(LN5
7DB) has baysat its east end which back onto a large grass verge.
LOUTH
Cattle Market Car Park(LN11 9HF), near the town centre.Free
parking (1April – 30 September, exceptFridays and special
market days). Entrance on B1520, off A16.

SKEGNESS
BeresfordAvenue CarPark(PE25 3TW). Free. Park within lines
and if you use two bays, you must pay for allthe bays yourtake.
Richmond Drive(PE25 3PG) has a coach andmotorhome park.
It is behind the railway and bus stations and is marked for
coaches andmotorhomes.
STAMFORD
North Street(PE9 1EG),Scotgate(PE92YE),St Leonard’s(PE9
2HX) andBath Row(PE9 2QY) are now the only council-runcar
parks that do not have height barriers.
MANCHESTER
PARTINGTON
Atkinson Road East,Urmston (M41 9QN) has no height barrier
and some non-standard bays.
STOCKPORT
Hazel Grove, Buxton Road (SK7 6AF). Privately runP&R has
a height barrier but call Stagecoach Manchester on 01612
733377 and it will open the barrier for you.
