Port Ellen petrol station, opposite the toilet block. Access
to black waste disposal and temporary hook-ups (2 hours)
is dependent on garage opening hours.You can also stay
overnight with a hook-up and thiscan bebooked in advance.
Hook-ups and black waste disposal are subject to a charge.
For a charge of £5, black waste disposal and fresh water are
availableat the Port Mor campsite nearPort Charlotte.

park on A816 (PA31 8RN).

LochavullinCar Park, Ly nn Road (PA34 4HP). Use the coach/
lorry park where there are four spaces for motorhomes.
On Sundays only there is some free parkingon the Corran
Esplanade (PA34 5AQ).

The Dundee City Council carparks aregenerally not suitable
for motorhomes.East Whale Lane Car Park(DD1 3JU) is the
most suitable but please contact 01382 432095 to make
arrangements prior to parking.
DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY
Dumfries & Galloway operates disc parking schemes in some
towns across the region, including Dumfries, Langholm and
Stranraer. You can park for free in these areas for a limited period
by displaying aclock disc. The maximum stay in each disc zone is
clearly marked on the signs in the street or car park where you’re
park.You must display the disc showing your arrival time. Clock
discs areavailable from some local shops as well as the council’s

On-street parking (DG1 2PY) if you have a disc parking ticket
for Dumfries & Galloway (see above).Approach the town on the
B725 from the east. Next to St Michael’s Church where Robert
Burns is buried.

Blacksmiths Shop VisitorCentre(DG16 5EA) has a large area
for motorhomes in the centre which is free to use. No overnight
parking.
KIRKCUDBRIGHT
On-street parking(DG6 4DY) on A711 if coming from the east.
LANGHOLM
To wnhead(DG13 0EP). Large, free car park by river, where
B709 joins A7.
EASTAYRSHIRE
CUMNOCK
To wnhead Street(KA18 1LA). 116 spaces, no height
restriction.Free parking.
KILMARNOCK
Queen Street(KA1 3DB). 138 spaces no height restriction. 4
hours max stay.
Sturrock Street East(KA1 3AH). Long stay. 82 spaces, no
height restriction. Most others have max 4-hour stay.
EAST LOTHIAN
DUNBAR
John Muir Country Park(EH42 1XF). The signage initially gives
the impression that there is only height-restricted parking but
following the roadarou nd past the barriers, there is a high
vehicle and horse boxes designated parking area with space
for eight or ten vehicles.Parking is £2 all day.
HADDINGTON
Brewery Park(EH41 3AB). 180 spaces no height restriction.
MUSSELBURGH
Fisherrow Harbour(EH 21 6DQ). 110 spaces no height
restriction.
Wallyford P&R(EH21 8JX) just off the A199between
Musselburgh and Dolphingstonecan accommodate
motorhomes, but notovernight. There are 300 free spaces and
you can choose between a train (to EdinburghWaverley) ora
