UK HOSTS OPEN
WEEKEND
The Erwin Hymer Group UK, which
manufactures the Elddis and Compass
motorhome and campervan ranges, is
hosting an open weekend on Saturday 21
to Sunday 22 September. Theevent will
provide a unique opportunity to see all its
2020 new motorhomes and campervans,
as well as factory tours and the chance to
avail of some special offers.
The weekend gives the opportunity to
see how and where its models are built,
but also the chance to be among the irst
people to see the all-new 2020 ranges, as
well as a specialevent package worth up
to £1,195for those who buy at theevent.
The event is supported by the
manufacturer’s dealers from across the
UK, who will be there to discuss part-
exchange and/or inance options.
First-timer buyers will receive a Starter
Pack from their chosen dealer readyfor
their irst adventure.
For those who wish to take a factory
tour,they will see how the caravans and
motorhomes are built and fully bonded
with SoLiD construction, aswell as being
able to talk to the designers, engineers
and manufacturing team.
Manufacturing partners, such as
Whale, Alde and E&P Hydraulics, will also
be on hand to answer questions on the
latest gadgets and technology itted to the
motorhomes and caravans.
Other attractions include towing and
motorhome manoeuvring advice, aswell
as advice from the Camping and
Caravanning Club and the Caravan and
Motorhome Club.
Entry is free, but places must be
booked online in advance.

Swift shows oflatest Edgemotorhome
The Swift Group has unveiled its
2020 range of motorhomes and
campervans, including the all-new
Edge coachbuilt range.
In addition to the Edge, Swift has
launched anew Kon-tiki Spo rt, as
well as a revitalised Escape, Escape
Compact and Select camperv an.
The new Edge is aimed at
first-time buyers a nd newcomers
to motorhoming andhas been
primarily designed for families.
The range has five models,
offering a cho ice of two, fou r andsix
bert hs, all of which canbe driven on
a standard car licence and each with
a high level of st andard equipment.

Swift’s flagship Kon-tiki range
gets a new Sport version. Depending

with each gaining a new layout and a
makeover both inside and out.
