to Pont-de-l ’Arche, cross the ri ver andkeep
goin g, still on the D6015, for fourmiles to
a roundabout.Go straight on and in 500
yards take the slip road towards motorways
and Évreux. Cross the A13motorway
and joi n the fr ee A154motorway which
continues as dualcarriageway past Évreux
to Nonancourt where you meet the N12.

Stage 3: Nonancourt toPoitiers
Approaching the N12 anobvious route
is turning left past Dreux and Chartres.
However, this is a bu sy slowtrucking route
goin g thr ough Tours. Instead turn ri ght
towards Alençon, leave most of the traffic
behind and enjoy mainly dual carriageway
for 34 miles to Mortagne-au-Perch e where
you turn south. Don’t enterthe town,

but continue onthe N12bypass for three
miles and take the se cond e xit. Turn back
under the main road and at the se cond
roundabout take the first exit on the D401.
Join the D938south past Bellême and the n
the D301past Bonnétable towards Le Mans.
Just before Le Mans, as you leave the villa ge
of Savigné-l’Évêque, turn left towards the
A11/A28motorway junction. Continue
straight on tojoin the D323southern bypass
and in 7½miles turn south on the D323to
La Flèche. Continue south through Baugé-
en-Anjou andjoin the D347which crosses
the Loire at Saumur, a nd continues p ast
Montreuil-Bellay andLoudun to Poitiers.

Stage 4:Poitiers to Bayonne
Join the Poitiers ring(not the A10)+
