With the inal

components attached I

was inally ready to move

to the painting stage

My preferred technique for weathered

camoulages is ‘black basing’, which

started with a coat of Black Primer

The inal shades were

Intermediate Blue.....

...and the Intermediate

Blue was used a base for the

weathered Navy Blue shade

The engine

cowlings

and loats

received the

same painting

sequence and

techniques as

the fuselage

and wings

The decals were

extremely thin and

conformed very well

A Dark Sea Blue

wash was used on

the upper areas
